I have just come across your extensive list of Norse items as recorded to have been found. Included in the list are those my Mallery on Sop's Island. There is a secondary reference to Thompson for the same listing. I am try.out this so I can cross check.

FYI,  This list of Norse (& other) artifacts was compiled by personally reading books and articles on Norse in America and recording those items mentioned.

The object of our efforts was to determine if the many books and articles mentioned real evidence or if Norse in America was a fantasy to be ignored.

Thanks for asking.  You imply that you have Mallery’s book.  Most things he (and his wife) wrote about are very valid.  Mallery was among the leaders, most of whom have been “shot down” because the prevailing MYTH taught by our universities was that there were no Norse in America.

Our personal research determined that the universities were teaching a MYTH.
